Come and hear Dr Tom Pering from the University of Sheffield Geography department as he describes his work with active lava lakes and monitoring stations of the chain of volcanoes that make up the dragon like, central backbone of Nicaragua. Also attending will be the Nicaraguan Ambassador to the UK, Guisell Morales-Echaverry, who will share insights into the importance of these magnificent natural structures to the environment and tourism industry of the country.
