Each year we look forward to welcoming more intrepid riders and walkers to help us raise funds for the environmental, social and human rights projects that we support in Nicaragua.
This year on Sunday 11th May we are delighted to be planning not only our 20 and 50 mile rides, but also a 5 mile family friendly ride for those who fancy a gentler fundraiser! (Scroll down for more info, registration guidance and ride guides).
The Two Peaks Bike Ride always promises great views for our riders over the glorious Dark and White Peak of the Peak District National Park, and tasty treats at the Edale lunch stop. There are two signed and marshalled rides, of 20 and 50 miles respectively.
The 5 Mile Ride will lead people through Endcliffe Park, Bingham Park and Whitely Woods, up to Forge Dam, with equally tempting treats on offer along the way.
All rides will set out from Endcliffe Park, Rustlings Road, Sheffield, S11 7AB.
The bike ride routes are:
50 Mile Ride For those that want a challenging ride through Ringinglow, Hathersage, Bretton, Tideswell, Peak Forest, Mam Tor, Edale, Hope, Yorkshire Bridge, Stanage and Burbage, avoiding main roads where possible. The Edale lunch stop and marshalling point will be at Ruskin Villa, a mile outside the village on the right, as you’ll see in your ride guide. Set off between 8am and 9am.
20 Mile Ride For those who want a shorter but still hilly and picturesque bike ride through Burbage, Hathersage, and back under Stanage. Set off between 8am and 9am
5 Mile Ride or Walk Follows a leisurely, safe route for less regular riders and families, following the Porter Brook through Endcliffe Park and up to Forge Dam. There is even a pop up cafe on route to spur everybody on! Set off 10am.
Registration Rates for the Bike Ride: individuals £20, concessions and students £7, children free
Sponsorship: We don’t ask for sponsorship but donations over and above the registration fee are welcome. Experience has shown us that children often get more involved if they are collecting sponsorship!

There will be a pop up café at the registration desk from 10.30 until 3.30 with delicious tea, coffee and cakes, so if you can’t walk or ride come with a friend & have a cuppa in the sunshine, and find out about our twin cities!
